Wooden plugs and tunnels do require a little bit of maintenance. We have listed a few tips for you:
Use a little jojoba oil or earwax every now and then to keep your wooden piercing jewelry beautiful. Rub the support surface and the back of the plugs or tunnels with a little bit of oil or Butt'r and rub well with a dry cloth. That's it! Fresh and fruity plugs and tunnels that stay beautiful for a long time.
Don't let them get wet! Don't go swimming or showering with your plugs or tunnels and keep them away from damp areas. The moisture can cause the wood to expand slightly, making it feel less smooth. Or worse, the wood can dry out (yes, seriously) and eventually split. Keep 'm dry, so.
And last but not least: wood is a natural material and each piece has its own character. As a result, wooden jewelry is never exactly the same. Wood will often also darken in color over time, especially if you regularly use oil or something similar to maintain them.
