Piercing discs are available in various sizes and types. A disc lies flat on the skin, which means that your piercing is often much less noticeable and can therefore provide a lot more comfort. All our discs are suitable for piercing jewelry with internal thread and fit most piercing bars. Ideal for tragus piercings and other cartilage piercings, but also particularly suitable for many other piercings. And our discs are also perfect for microdermals, of course.
Materials and types
In our shop you can find both titanium discs and real gold discs. If you go for a simple, flat disc, you choose subtle simplicity but also a bit of comfort. And if you prefer a fancy disc, you can also choose a piercing disc with stones or a disc with a figure. One of our favorites are the Titanium Zirconia Flowers that are available for both 1.2 mm and 1.6 mm jewelry. And if you are looking for something to make your microdermal or other piercing just a little less visible? Then our Hider Discs are of course perfect!
How do you clean them?
Keeping your piercings clean also deserves sufficient attention. And with a piercing disc on your piercing, it is a little different than with, for example, a piercing ball. That is also the reason why some piercers advise you to wear a standard piercing ball in the beginning, they are a little faster to clean. Still, cleaning a piercing with a disc does not require a lot of effort. You can keep the discs and your piercing perfectly clean with a saline solution or a mild piercing soap. Whichever cleaning method you use, make sure that you also clean underneath the disc and rinse everything thoroughly. Let it dry well, and you're done! And if your piercing is not yet healed, consult your piercer first before you enthusiastically swap your ball for a disc.
